Okay... so I'm trying to broaden my perspective a bit.
So I spent a small portion of my day walking around with my camera on my hip, hitting the shutter button every so often... completely random. I might have been looking a totally different direction that my camera was pointing. But my thought was about perspective... and how the one I actually see with my eyes might not always be the most perfect or artistic.
So this is one of the shots for today... and I'll revise this journal and add a few more as I come across from them.
I KNOW they are over/under exposed, crooked, etc. And I'm good with that... this is simply me sharing my experiment of photos as they "come out of the camera" and were never anything I was actually trying to aim at.

Back in the Saddle...
Well, it's time. Beyond time.
I've been on hiatus from working photos and frustrated about various things photography-wise. But really? It was just a lack of confidence and a case of craptastic self-esteem.
So I'm over myself and ready to get back to work.... with a little help from my friends. :)
Happy Holidays to everyone, in whatever you celebrate where you are. I hope the coming new year finds you well and off on adventures to follow your dreams.
From the studio of a friend...
So - I work with a photographer that is also here on DA (Andras 120)... http://www.andras120.deviantart.com
The most recent piece is just stunning (see below)... for more info, go to image and read on.
All I did is her hair and helped a bit on the technical stuff, like posing details... the rest is all him. Every bit.
I'm more and more impressed by his work as time goes on... so I'm sharing it with my followers/friends.
If you'd like to add this to a group, please contact him as it's not for me to say yay or nay. Thanks!
Now... to share... and please... if you'd like to comment, do so!!!

Catching up...
I've been long remiss in catching up on dA... so much good work to be seen and not enough time to view it all, I suppose.
But I'm watching, faving, combing through it all.
And I'm struggling with this new format here... for heaven's sake... I haven't been able to even figure out how to go about dropping images into this journal.
Grrr....
Sharing some faves...
Haven't done features in a while, slide show or otherwise, so thought I'd do one.
Slide show is ~TruemarkPhotography (https://www.deviantart.com/truemarkphotography) ... my mentor in all things photography. :)
Otherwise, the artists below have caught my eye in the past few months... please enjoy and :+fav: or :+devwatch: those that catch your fancy too...

That's actually a really neat concept. You always have to change the way you look at things to discover something new. I like it.
